Our very first and most wonderful ball and SCD weekend

Finally: Our first SCD-Weekend and Ball took place!
It was chilly and there was even some snow, but everybody was in a good mood.
November, 31st - Social Dance in a beautiful room of the 'Linden-Gemeinde' in Berlin-Wilmersdorf
Thanks to our phantastic musicians for this weekend: Silke, Thomas and Wolfgang.

Our sheep badges welcomed all the visitors (and musicians and helpers).
 
December, 1st - morning: Workshop in the gym of Eichendorff Primary School
It was rather cold and unfortunately the floor was very slippery.

In the evening there was the ball in Trinitatis-Kirche (Trinity Church).

 
In the beginning and after the buffet the Berlin Pipe Company played traditional tunes, adn some others as well...

 
During the most delicious dinner (buffet by Al Samira) Tobias played the harp for us (Scottish, Welsh, Irish and Breton tunes: Did some notice the differences?).

Everybody seemed happy and content:

And this is why we are going to have the next ball this year!
